question: how in-depth should i go when describing a piece of art for the image id/caption?

like as someone who isn't hard of seeing, i don't know what descriptions are useful/superfluous. do i just go ham describing what my oc looks like??? can i turn on the scientific part of my brain and go "background: tannish color, main focus: oc, oc description: blah blah, oc clothing: blah blah"???
